Tour Bloom @Tuebrook

Bloom @ Tuebrook is set in the heart of West Derby Road, on the corner of Oak Leigh, just off the bustling main road and perfectly placed within a vibrant and well-connected community. Our building has its own unique story—previously a dog groomer, it has been thoughtfully transformed into a warm, welcoming and inspiring early years setting where children can feel safe, valued, and excited to learn. With excellent transport links into Liverpool City Centre, we are ideally located for families travelling from Croxteth, Norris Green, West Derby, Old Swan and Stoneycroft, whether on foot or on the way into town.

‍Surrounded by a variety of local shops and businesses, including Heron Foods and MP Ian Byrne’s office directly opposite, we are truly at the centre of the Tuebrook community. We are incredibly proud of the strong relationships we have built with local residents and families, and giving back is at the heart of everything we do. From supporting families through community clothing rails to building meaningful connections with a local care home, we aim to help children understand the importance of kindness, empathy and belonging from an early age.

‍As part of our enriching, play-based curriculum, children take part in hands-on experiences that link closely with the EYFS framework, supporting all areas of learning and development. Through activities such as cookery, children develop key life skills while also learning about the world around them. A wonderful example of this is our soup-making sessions, where children prepare fresh soups that are shared within our community through our soup kitchen. These experiences not only support communication, physical development and understanding the world, but also nurture personal, social and emotional development—helping children grow into caring and confident individuals.

‍We are proud to be part of the Bloom family of settings, where our ethos is centred around curiosity, creativity and a love for learning. Inspired by the approach of bloomchildcare.fun, we believe children learn best through play, exploration and meaningful real-life experiences. Our environment is carefully designed to encourage independence, imagination and discovery, supporting each child’s unique learning journey from as young as 6 weeks up to 4 years old.

‍We’re open weekdays from 7:30am to 5:50pm, offering flexible childcare to support busy families. Our daily routine includes a nutritious breakfast, a freshly prepared hot lunch, and a hot evening meal, ensuring children are well nourished and ready to learn and play throughout the day. We also make the most of our fantastic location by incorporating local trips and outings, helping children build confidence and develop a sense of connection to their community.

‍In addition, we have partnered with Alder Hey Children’s NHS Foundation Trust through their Altogether Smiling programme, promoting good oral health in a fun and engaging way. This initiative supports children in developing positive habits early on, and we are incredibly proud of the impact it has had, alongside the lovely feedback we receive from parents and carers.

‍Our team is warm, welcoming and highly experienced, bringing a wide range of knowledge and passion to everything they do. We are dedicated to creating meaningful learning opportunities, supporting every stage of development, and making lasting memories with the children in our care. Whether you are returning to work or looking for the very best start for your child, Bloom @ Tuebrook is here to grow with your family 🌼
