‍At Bloom Prescot, we are dedicated to supporting every child to become a happy, confident, and independent learner. We believe that children learn best through play, so we provide rich, engaging experiences that spark curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning.

‍Our nurturing environment encourages children to explore, discover, and grow at their own pace, while feeling safe, valued, and supported every step of the way.

‍Our nursery is led by a dedicated and experienced management team. Both our Manager and Deputy have been part of the setting since it opened in 2018, bringing consistency, passion, and a deep understanding of our nursery community.

‍They have had the privilege of watching many children grow and develop from babies through to pre-school, building relationships with families and creating a warm, welcoming environment. Their own children are also part of our nursery family as well as other staff members children and even their grandchildren.

‍We are proud to offer a wide range of cultural capital experiences that help broaden children’s understanding of the world around them.

‍These include:

‍- Regular outings in our nursery minibus

‍- Visits into our local community

‍- Weekly cookery sessions

‍- Story sessions led by families who speak different languages

‍- Enrichment providers such as moo music, diddi-dance, forest school weekly

‍These experiences enrich children’s learning, build confidence, and help them develop respect and understanding for others.

‍Our Rooms

‍We have four dedicated rooms, each carefully designed to meet the needs of different age groups. Every room also benefits from its own outdoor garden space, allowing children to explore and learn both indoors and outside.

‍Baby Room (0–18 months): A warm, calm and nurturing space where our youngest children feel safe and secure.

‍Waddlers (18 months–2 years): Supporting early exploration, movement, and independence.

‍Toddlers (2–3 years):Encouraging curiosity, communication, and social development through play.

‍Pre-School (3+ years):Preparing children for school with a focus on independence, confidence, and early learning skills.

‍We follow a consistent daily routine within each room, helping children feel secure and confident as they begin to understand and anticipate their day.

‍Children love coming together for shared experiences such as:

‍- Circle time

‍- Dough Disco

‍- Squiggle wiggle

‍- Daily toothbrushing

‍- Yoga sessions

‍These activities support children’s physical development, communication skills, and overall wellbeing in a fun and engaging way. Mealtimes are a calm and enjoyable social experience where children sit together, share conversations, and build relationships. We actively encourage independence by giving children the opportunity to take on roles such as dinner time helpers, helping to build confidence and responsibility.

‍The Nurturing Nest

‍We also have a dedicated Nurturing Nest; a calm and comforting space filled with sensory resources. This room is available for children who may need time away from the main environment, offering a safe and supportive space to relax, regulate emotions, and feel reassured.

‍It is also used for small intervention groups to support the children with their communication and language.

‍Supporting Every Child

‍Every child is important to us. We recognise that all children are unique and develop in different ways.

‍We have an on-site SENCo who provides additional support for children who need it. This ensures that every child receives the care, guidance, and encouragement they need to thrive.
