After School Club-

The day will start as the school day ends. Children from St Paul and St Timothy’s Catholic Infant School will be collected by staff and safely escorted across to the juniors. Children from St Pauls Catholic Junior school will make their own way to the out of school club room. The children will be offered a range of play opportunities with our qualified team both indoor and out. Year 5 and year 6 children will be encouraged to be involved in the smooth running of the setting by, if they wish to be junior playworkers by taking on roles and responsibilities that empower the children in their ownership of their setting. Play will be led by staff and leaders through consultation with the children.

Bloom are proud to announce the creation of an out of school club in partnership with St Pauls Catholic Junior school. Bloom at St Pauls will be based from classrooms within school with the use of the large playing field and school yard. Our hours of operation will be 7.30am to the start of the school day, and then from the end of the school day to 5.50pm weekdays, term time.

Children from both St Paul and St Timothy’s Catholic Infant School and St Pauls Catholic Junior school are invited to attend.

Breakfast Club-

Children will arrive and be greeted with a friendly smile by staff. Breakfast is available on arrival with a choice of cereals and toast and the children will be encouraged at their leisure to take part in play by way of table top activities, art and crafts, play indoors and out or to just sit, relax and chill with friends before the day begins!

An evening meal will be available to all children from 4.30pm (not a ‘put me over until we get home snack’) ranging from curry and rice, spaghetti bolognaise or meatballs, chicken carbonara, lasagne, shepherd’s pie, stew, Jacket potato with fillings, a range of soups with bread (chicken noodle, tomato, vegetable etc), tuna pasta , chicken pesto to name a few. Menus are updated termly and we take the children views into account when planning.
